The Safety Of Eliquid And Whether It Is Effective In Replacing The Habit Of Smoking Ciggaretes
There is a debate that has been initiated by the rising number of electronic cigarettes where different number of the arms of government has been debating the safety of the cigarettes. Most people, however, have in the recent times shifted from the use of electronic cigarettes to the use of nicotine-laden flavors thus shifting the attention of the researchers. There are groups that contend that the e-liquid is more harmful than the cigarettes implying that it has more hazardous effect on human body than smoking the cigarettes. The other group however dispute that the e-liquid is hazardous since there are no documented effects that have been established thus deeming it safe as air.
Each group may argue that their argument is correct, but there is need to provide proof to support the arguments which actually lies in between the two arguments. However one should note that there is nothing that can term to be 100 percent safe especially for human consumption since even clean water which is purified can be a cause of death. What matters when one is consuming different products is their level of safety as well as their relative harm compared to other products that one can be using. Thus when determining whether the use of e-liquid we do not seek to prove that it is 100 percent safe but compare it with the cigarettes which they are replacing in the recent times. It is not abnormal for the eliquids to affect consumption since the body was only designed to inhale oxygen. The safety levels of using any product depends on the components used during the manufacture, but not many people are aware of the components of the e-liquid.
During the manufacture of the eliquids the primary component is usually nicotine which is usually highly addictive and at times dangerous when used in excess. Nicotine can create vasoconstriction which causes tingling sensations, headaches and blood circulation problems such as high blood pressure. However nicotine can help fight depression, improve concentration and is recommended for patients who suffer from different brain disorders such as ADHD. Glycol compounds are also used in making the eliquids where the two main compounds are propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin where they are used to create smoke illusion. Manufacturers also include flavors to the eliquids mainly the food flavors. Manufacturers may also add distilled water to the eliquids to make them wick while others add vodka or pure grain alcohol aiming at improving throat hit.
